Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has rejected a summer transfer for Victor Osimhen despite Arsenal’s interest in the Nigeria striker.

Arsenal discussed Osimhen during talks with Galatasaray over Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, according to reports.

Özbek responded to the transfer reports with a firm message.

“I am not selling Osimhen no matter how much money it is.”

Galatasaray also rejected a reported €130 million offer from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal for the striker.

Meanwhile, Osimhen scored twice as Galatasaray drew 2-2 with Çorum FK on Friday.

After the match, the 27-year-old addressed the reports linking him with a move.

“There are always rumours during the transfer window. I’ll focus on my job. I’m focused on my work. We’ll see and think about the future then.”

Arsenal discussed Osimhen while Galatasaray negotiated with the Premier League club over Martinelli and Nwaneri.

Galatasaray reportedly offered about £38 million for Martinelli and also asked about Nwaneri.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli in July 2025 after spending the previous season on loan at the Turkish club.

He scored 32 goals during that loan campaign before Galatasaray completed his permanent transfer for €75 million.

The striker signed a four-year contract after completing the move.

Arsenal have also pursued Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez as they search for another attacking option.

For now, Galatasaray president Özbek has told interested clubs that Osimhen will remain at the club.
