Nigerian influencer Hameed Hamidat Oyindamola spent ₦2.19 million preparing for and attending the wedding of social media personalities Jarvis and Peller.
Hameed Hamidat Oyindamola shared the expense breakdown after the ceremony, showing that her budget covered clothing, beauty services, accommodation and content production.
She paid ₦400,000 for dressmaking and ₦350,000 for asoebi, while videography cost ₦300,000. Hotel accommodation and photography each took ₦200,000 from the budget.
For content preparation, two studio sessions cost ₦150,000. She also paid ₦100,000 for hair-making and another ₦100,000 for two gele-tying sessions.
The remaining expenses covered a ₦70,000 Oleku dress, ₦60,000 for hair styling, ₦60,000 for jewellery and ₦60,000 for makeup.
She spent a further ₦50,000 on nails, ₦50,000 on heels and ₦40,000 on a purse.
According to Oyindamola, the spending helped her prepare her appearance for the wedding while allowing her to create content around the event.
The figures have since attracted attention on social media, with users discussing the cost of attending high-profile weddings and the expenses influencers can incur for clothing, beauty appointments, photography and video production.
