Nigerian socialite Pretty Mike arrived at Peller and Jarvis’ wedding in Lagos with about 20 people dressed as medical practitioners.
The group carried intravenous drips as they followed Pretty Mike into the ceremony, turning his entrance into one of the most talked-about moments from the event.
Pretty Mike later explained the stunt in an Instagram post, saying: “They said it’s a sick world out here, well as you can see, I walk around with my own team of medical practitioners.”
His comment came after some Nigerians focused on his appearance, with several users saying he looked slimmer than before. Some asked people close to him to check on him, while others suggested he might be losing weight.
One Instagram user wrote: “What if he was just trying to pass a message yesterday. God will see him through.”
Another commenter linked the discussion to the NDLEA case involving Pretty Mike’s Lagos nightclub, saying things had not been the same for him since his release.
The ceremony brought together Nigerian entertainers and social media personalities as Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, married Jarvis, also known as Amadou Elizabeth Aminata.
Pretty Mike has used unusual entrances at celebrity events before, but his medical-themed arrival gave guests and social media users another reason to discuss his appearance at the wedding.
