Odumodublvck Biography
Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu was born on 19 October 1993 in Lagos State. Although born in Lagos, the rapper traces family roots to Delta State, where the Anioma Igbo community originates.
The family later moved to Abuja, where most of the musician’s childhood and teenage years unfolded. Abuja later became the base for both the artist’s career and the Anti World Gangstars collective.
Unlike many Nigerian musicians who built careers from Lagos, Odumodublvck developed a following within Abuja’s underground rap community before breaking into the national mainstream.
That route influenced the sound, collaborations and identity that later became associated with the rapper.
Odumodublvck Parents, Family And Tribe
Odumodublvck’s parents come from Delta State and worked as civil servants.
The rapper grew up in a Christian family and has spoken about both parents in several interviews. Early in the music journey, the father wanted a different career path, while the mother gradually accepted the decision to pursue music full time.
The musician later revealed that the relationship with the father improved before his death in 2021.
Odumodublvck is Igbo by tribe through the Anioma people of Delta State. The artist often reflects that heritage through music, public appearances and fashion.
One of the most recognised parts of that identity is the Okpu Agu, an Igbo cap worn during performances and media appearances.
Odumodublvck Education Started In Abuja Before Continuing At The University Of Lagos
Odumodublvck attended Christ the King College, Gwagwalada, in the Federal Capital Territory.
The nickname Odumodu became popular during secondary school and later developed into the stage name Odumodublvck.
After secondary education, the rapper enrolled at Bowen University but left before completing the programme.
The musician later transferred to the University of Lagos, where studies continued in Mass Communication.
During that period, music increasingly became the main focus.
How Odumodublvck Got The Stage Name And Why Rapper Always Wears The Okpu Agu

The stage name dates back to secondary school after classmates compared the young student to an Odumodu masquerade.
Instead of keeping earlier music names, the rapper adopted Odumodublvck before releasing commercial music.
The black spelling reflects the artist’s branding, while the Okpu Agu became another permanent feature.
Odumodublvck has explained that the cap represents Igbo identity and serves as a reminder of personal heritage rather than a fashion accessory alone.
