Lagos lawmaker and Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot has returned to a movie set after losing the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for Surulere Constituency I.

The appearance comes shortly after Barakat Odunuga-Bakare defeated Elliot in the APC primary for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat.
Elliot had represented Surulere Constituency I for three terms.
The actor recently addressed political alliances during an interview on The Morayo Show.
Elliot said he would not leave President Bola Tinubu to support Peter Obi, the 2027 presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
He also said politicians should remember that political power is temporary and focus on serving the people.
