Ayra Starr Drops Third Album ‘Starr Girl’ With Wizkid

Ayra Starr has finally released Starr Girl, but the new album carries more than a new title. Find out who joins her and what makes the 16-track project different.

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has released her third studio album, ‘Starr Girl’, a 16-track project featuring Wizkid, Rema, ZAYN, Leon Thomas, kwn, Theodora and Danny Ocean.

Released on Friday, August 14, 2026, ‘Starr Girl’ follows her 2024 album ‘The Year I Turned 21’ and her 2021 debut album ‘19 & Dangerous’.

Wizkid features on ‘Gimme Dat’, while Rema joins Ayra Starr on ‘Who’s Dat Girl’. Kwn appears on ‘Amazing’, Leon Thomas features on ‘Pressure’, and Theodora appears on ‘Ms. Paper’. ZAYN also features on ‘Heaven Baby’, while Danny Ocean joins the remix of ‘Hot Body’.

The album also includes songs Ayra Starr released before the full project, including ‘Hot Body’, ‘Tornado’, ‘Where Do We Go’, ‘Letter To God’ and ‘Misunderstood’.

Before the release, Ayra Starr explained that she wanted to explore different sounds and approaches on the album.

“I like to do different things, and I like to surprise you guys.”

She added: “Just expect me to exist in multitudes, respectfully and nicely.”

The singer also said she wanted her new music to reflect her experiences at the time of recording the album.

“I want to come back to it. Like, I want to sing about where I am presently.”

Meanwhile, Ayra Starr released several songs ahead of ‘Starr Girl’ as she prepared listeners for the album. ‘Gimme Dat’, ‘Hot Body’, ‘Who’s Dat Girl’, ‘Where Do We Go’ and ‘Tornado’ all arrived before the full project.

The album also features ‘Dance’, which includes the lyric, “Feels good to be who I am.”

With the release, Ayra Starr adds a third studio album to her catalogue after ‘19 & Dangerous’ and ‘The Year I Turned 21’.

‘Starr Girl’ is available on major music streaming platforms.
