Davido has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, helps manage his finances.
The Afrobeats singer made the disclosure during a recent livestream with streamer Davrel, where he also discussed his monthly expenses and life with his family.
Davido said he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 a month on personal expenses. The amount does not include Chioma’s expenses, household costs, jewellery or luxury cars.
Davido described himself as a reckless spender and said Chioma helps organise his finances.
He contacted Chioma during the livestream while trying to arrange a $4,000 payment for his personal assistant, Lati.
Davido referred to his wife as his “life coordinator” during the conversation.
Davido said his spending changes depending on where he is living.
He spends less in the United States because he stays with Chioma and their children. In Nigeria, he said his expenses are higher because he goes out and socialises more.
“When I’m around, I spend a lot more,” he said.
His $200,000 to $300,000 monthly estimate covers his personal expenses. Chioma’s expenses, other household costs, jewellery and luxury cars are outside the figure.
Davido and Chioma got married in 2024 after several years together.
Their traditional wedding took place in Lagos on June 25, 2024. The couple later held a white wedding ceremony in Miami in 2025.
Davido and Chioma have twins together. Davido also has children from previous relationships.
