Rixel Studios is moving into a bigger Nollywood chapter with Black Market, its latest feature film after the release of Red Circle in 2025 — FirstNigerian.com reports.

The studio introduced Red Circle as its first cinema project. Now, it is following up with Black Market, a movie that has already caught attention with its impressive cast and ambitious production plans.

Nollywood stars Lateef Adedimeji and Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman lead the cast of Black Market.

The film also features Ibrahim Yekini, Omowunmi Dada, Scarlet Gomez, Teniola Aladese, Susan Pwajok and Uzor Arukwe.

Together, the actors bring a mix of popular names and fresh talent to Rixel Studios’ newest project.

Rixel Studios joins forces with top production companies

Fatimah Binta Gimsay directs Black Market and worked with Abdul Tijani-Ahmed on the screenplay.

Meanwhile, Rixel Studios produced the movie with FilmOne Studios, Signet Ring Studios and Switch Visuals Production.

The partnership combines different creative teams as they work to deliver a major Nollywood release.

The filmmakers shot Black Market in Abeokuta, Ogun State, adding another large-scale production to Rixel Studios’ growing portfolio.
