Spiritual Formation and Influences

He spent his childhood and teenage years in Auchi, where he completed both his primary and secondary education.

During his formative years, he came under the spiritual influence of the late Benson Idahosa, an experience he has often credited as shaping his early ministerial foundation.

He also developed close ministerial relationships over time, including an informal father–son relationship with Ayo Oritsejafor, under whose ministry he once submitted.

Later in life, he openly identified Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God as his spiritual father and mentor.

Education and Early Ministry Experience

After completing secondary school, he went on to study Mass Communication at the University of Benin. Various ministry biographies also report that he later earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in areas connected to Human Resource Management and Theology.

In 1998, he began formal pastoral work as an assistant pastor at Armour of God Church in Lagos, where he served for several years and gained hands-on ministry experience.

Founding of Omega Fire Ministries International

He founded Omega Fire Ministries International on 1 February 2004. The headquarters is called Restoration City. It is based in Auchi, Edo State. The church grew fast and spread across many countries. It became known as a global charismatic Pentecostal movement.

The names of their children are God’s Favour (sometimes written as Godsfavour), Divine, Love, Mirabel, Ebenezer, and Excel. Ebenezer is the only son, while the rest are daughters.

A few of the children are also seen in ministry or music. Divine has been seen preaching at youth events and church gatherings. Some of the daughters, including Divine and God’s Favour, have also been involved in gospel music and worship events, as part of a group called Triumphant Sisters.
