Davido spent his school days in Lagos at the British International School. This was his secondary school, where he learned the usual subjects. After finishing there, he travelled to the United States to continue his studies. He went to Oakwood University, where he studied Business Administration until music started pulling him in a new direction, so he paused his studies to follow that feeling.
Later on, Davido decided to return to Nigeria to complete his education properly. He enrolled at Babcock University, and that is where he graduated with a degree in Music.

When Davido was studying at Oakwood, he spent a lot of time playing with sounds and learning how music works. He enjoyed making beats and whenever he had a chance, he also performed on stage.
During this time, he didn’t create music alone. He joined his cousins, B-Red and Sina Rambo, and together they formed a small group called KB International. It was like a little team of family members.
